![]() ![]() If there is less than 1/6 of a tsp of cinnamon in a 1/4 tsp serving of a seasoning, the cinnamon in the serving size is considered to have 0 calories.Ĭost: The MSRP of these seasonings is $14.99, but from what I've seen, they are pretty much always on sale for $5. For example: Cinnamon contains 6 calories per teaspoon. It is also worth noting that while the serving size of 1/4 tsp contains "0 calories," using 24x the recommended serving size does add calories to your shake due to the way calorie counts work for nutritional information in the United States. The flavors themselves are all good enough, but this did translate to using 24x the recommended serving size, meaning each container would allow for the flavoring of 8 shakes. I ended up doubling this to 2 tablespoons per shake and the flavors were present at a decent (but not overpowering) level. I tried the same with the Buttery Cinnamon Roll and found the results to be the same. ![]() I could not taste any noticeable difference. In my first trial, I used 1 tablespoon (12x the recommended serving size of 1/4 teaspoon) of Chocolate Donut with Vanilla powder. I tried all four flavors with both Vanilla and Salted Caramel and I tried the Chocolate Doughnut with Banana. I purchased all four sweet flavors from Flavor God: Pumpkin Pie, Buttery Cinnamon Roll, Chocolate Doughnut, and Gingerbread Cookie. Flavor God's whole thing is making seasonings that contain negligible/zero calories. ![]() I tried the flavor boosts from Huel and found them to be mostly fine but was really hoping to find another way to add different flavors to my shakes without adding many calories or chemicals like aspartame. Still, I was looking for a way to add new flavors into the mix to break the monotony since I have 2-3 shakes a day. I can usually pick up on traces of flavors and I don't care for things that are overwhelmingly sweet. I use Vanilla, Banana, and Salted Caramel Huel Black with water and I mix my shakes with a blender.įor context, I might be one of the only people who actually enjoys the flavor of Huel on its own and I consider myself to have a somewhat sensitive palate. I am pretty big into fitness and weightlifting and need to keep my protein intake over 200g a day, so I usually put a scoop of whey and/or casein protein in with my Huel. I'm a huge fan of Huel and have found it makes maintaining proper nutrition very easy, on top of the obvious convenience factor. To start, I have been using Huel Black for a couple months now. I decided to give Flavor God a shot after seeing this post and figured I would leave a review for anyone who has been curious about it. ![]()
